Welcome to Unslop! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Unslop mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, installing, or using Unslop, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Unslop is an educational app designed to help you build healthier digital habits by transforming mindless scrolling into learning opportunities. It monitors app usage (via Android Accessibility Services or iOS Screen Time API) to enforce limits. To unlock screen time, users must read summarized knowledge (topics or book insights) and successfully answer multiple-choice or written questions. Written answers are evaluated using Google Gemini AI.

2. Educational Content & AI Disclaimer

Information Purpose Only

Unslop provides educational summaries and utilizes artificial intelligence to evaluate user responses. While we strive to provide accurate and interesting summaries, the content is intended for general informational and entertainment purposes only. We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the summaries. Additionally, the AI evaluating written answers may occasionally make mistakes or misinterpret context. Unslop is not a substitute for formal education, professional advice, or academic testing.

3. Subscriptions (Pro Pass)

Unslop offers an optional, premium subscription called Pro Pass to unlock advanced features and provide an ad-free experience. By subscribing, you agree to the following terms:

Billing: Pro Pass is a monthly subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew every month unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Cancellation: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings in the App Store or Google Play Store. Uninstalling Unslop will not automatically cancel your subscription.
Refunds: All payments are processed by Apple or Google. Any refund requests must be directed to the respective app store's customer support. Unslop cannot process direct refunds.

4. Advertisements (AdMob)

The free version of Unslop is supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob to serve these ads. By using the free version of the App, you agree to the display of such advertisements. Ad delivery may require the collection of non-identifiable device data, as detailed in our Privacy Policy. Purchasing a Pro Pass subscription removes these advertisements.

5. Device Permissions

To function properly, Unslop requires specific device permissions related to screen time management:

Accessibility Services (Android) / Screen Time API (iOS): Required to monitor screen time usage, detect when restricted apps are opened, and display the Unslop learning lock screen when your earned time expires.

You may revoke these permissions at any time via your device settings, but doing so will prevent the core features of Unslop from functioning.

6. Intellectual Property

All original content, design, code, graphics, and features of Unslop are the exclusive property of Mewguys and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The educational summaries provided within the app are transformative works. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App without our explicit written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unslop and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, resulting from:

Your use or inability to use the App.
Inaccuracies, errors, or omissions in the educational content, book summaries, or AI-driven answer evaluations.
Unauthorized access to or alteration of your device.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users of the App, us, or third parties.

9. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and safeguard your data, including how your written answers are securely processed by Google Gemini AI.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document or via an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
